NPI project management

New product introduction stages and cost, in one set of records

Process development, document preparation, qualification, and CGMP batches are project stage records. Each stage carries a number, status, estimated start and end, expected duration, and objective, and links back to its agreement and billing items. The same records render as a table, a board, a timeline, and a calendar.

Scope

Stages, schedule, approvals, and cost in one data model

PhaseNext cross-project overview dashboard with bar charts for task completion by status, formula trial yield, cost and profit, and a cross-project task timeline
Cross-project overview dashboard: task completion, trial yield, cost and profit, and the cross-project task timeline.

Project stages

Stage number, status, estimated start and end, expected duration, and objective form one record. Each stage links back to its agreement.

Four views, one set of records

A table, a board grouped by a property, a draggable timeline, and a calendar. Each view is personal or shared with the team.

Process gates and approvals

Work advances through defined process stages. Approval gates route to the responsible manager. Each record shows the days spent at its current stage.

Billing and cost items

Service fees, material and consumable deposits, and outsourced items attach to their stage. Schedule adjustments and change orders move with cost.

Configuration

The stage structure is configured in the interface

Stage fields, statuses, relations, and process gates are set by the project team. Change orders, repeated batches, and added stages are recorded on the same structure.

Visibility

Progress is derived from the stage records

  • Estimated start and end dates drive the timeline. Unscheduled stages are grouped together.
  • Each record shows the days spent at its current stage.
  • Filters, sorting, and hidden fields are saved with the view, giving each role its own read of the same records.

The plan and the status report come from the same records.

Bounded AI

AI drafts the structure, the team confirms it
